Our story
A hospital built by a family, for families.
Founded in 2004 by Dr. B. Maurya, Vishwas began as a single-surgeon clinic. Twenty-Two years on, it is a full-service surgical hospital — with the same handwritten follow-up cards we started with.
Vishwas Surgical Hospital was born out of a simple observation — that families in tier-2 towns often had to travel hours to a metro city for a straightforward operation. Dr. B. Mourya returned home from his fellowship with a mission: to bring modern, evidence-based surgery to his neighbourhood, without the impersonal feel of a large hospital.
Today, our modular operation theatres, 3-bed ICU, and 30-bed inpatient wing serve over 10,000 patients each year — from newborns in our nursery to elders recovering from joint replacements. We remain deliberately mid-sized, so that every patient still sees the same surgeon on rounds every morning.
